NEW APPLICATION
I heard back from all the people I wrote to at ACE, but they were not able to consider an appeal for an individual. I was told that although it met all the criteria and was recommended for funding it was not competitive enough. However, no one is able to tell me what would make it more competitive.
Luckily the date for the showcase at the Oxford Playhouse has changed to 27th APRIL and so I have re-applied. The application is slightly different so it is being treated as a new application and will take another 12 weeks to process. I have also applied to the Peggy Ramsay Foundation for a small grant towards the cost of writing up to the rehearsals.
Steve and I are working on songs at the moment which is consuming but exciting!
